The Two Routes That Decide Every Ending
Every ending in The Coffin of Andy and Leyley hangs off one decision, made deep in Episode 2. Ashley steps out of the room and leaves her brother alone with their parents. Two things can happen, and they lock you into one of two routes:

The Decay Route is the long road — it stretches across Episode 3 and holds 6 endings, several of which can only be reached by making one very specific choice early on.
Together, that is 9 endings in The Coffin of Andy and Leyley. Not counting the death states — instant game-overs like letting the Warden catch you, or opening the wardrobe after the hitman arrives — which the game treats separately from real endings.

Burial Route Endings
The Burial Route is the branch where Ashley and Andrew stay bound together instead of falling apart. Its endings all flow out of one shared dream, built from three pedestals and two doors. This is the complete breakdown of every ending in The Coffin of Andy and Leyley on the Burial side.
Sane Path
How to unlock it.
Take the right door in the shared dream. To open it, place the items in this exact order, left to right:
- Sunshine on the left pedestal
- Broken Heart on the center pedestal
- Heart on the right pedestal
What happens.
Inside the dream, Ashley watches herself collecting pure souls in a black void. She meets a Grime Soul — a soul too broken to take — and lets it go. When the two wake up, the relationship is exactly where it was before. Ashley feels quiet relief: the version of her brother she grew up with, the one she could always reach, is still there under everything.
This is the gentlest of all endings in The Coffin of Andy and Leyley. Nothing escalates, nothing breaks, and both of them stay standing at the end of it.
Truest of True Ends
How to unlock it.
Take the left door in the shared dream. Its item order, left to right:
- Heart on the left pedestal
- Sunshine on the center pedestal
- Broken Heart on the right pedestal
Then, when Andrew asks whether the vision you just shared is really what will happen between them one day, answer "Never."
What happens.
Andrew goes cold. The question he asked was a test, and her answer fails it. The route shuts down with both of them dead — the two siblings who spent the whole branch holding each other together end it by destroying each other the moment Ashley refuses to name what they are.
It is the bleakest of the Burial endings, and one of the most quietly brutal endings in The Coffin of Andy and Leyley.
"Never Say Never!" — The Unfinished Ending
How to unlock it.
Same left door, same items — Heart, Sunshine, Broken Heart. But this time answer "Never say never!"
What happens.
Andrew comes out of the dream noticeably lighter, more playful, and the route keeps rolling — straight into Episode 3: Burial, which has not released yet. That is the whole problem with this ending: it does not end. It pauses on a cliffhanger, and until Nemlei ships the Burial branch of Episode 3, there is nothing after it to see.
Decay Route Endings
The Decay Route is where The Coffin of Andy and Leyley gets long. Everything here starts with one question, asked during a car ride early in Episode 3: is he Andy, or is he Andrew? The answer opens one quick ending or five long ones.
Leyley Wins
How to unlock it.
Choose "Andy" in the car.
What happens.
"Andy" is the childhood name — the version of her brother that Ashley can fully control. By picking it, Andrew surrenders his adult identity entirely. He ends up trapped in a void dimension, stripped of every bit of autonomy, and Ashley wins outright.
This is the fastest of all 9 endings in The Coffin of Andy and Leyley. Pick "Andy" and the game ends almost immediately after, with no further choices to make.
Andrew Wins at Tag
How to unlock it.
- In the Episode 2 flashback, shoot Andrew when the option appears.
- In the Episode 3 car, choose "Andrew" — the adult, not "Andy."
- In the forest chase, have Andrew catch Ashley.
What happens.
Andrew kills Ashley with a meat cleaver, cradles her body, then kills himself. It is the only ending in The Coffin of Andy and Leyley where Andrew acts on his years of resentment directly, all at once, and does not let guilt pull him back.
The Forest Chase Fork
If Andrew does not catch Ashley in the forest, the route splits again. Two things matter from here: an engagement ring and a police interrogation.
The ring sits on the upper path of forest screens 3–4. Do not take the path with footprints — that one misses it.

Deadest of Dead Ends
How to unlock it.
- Shot Andrew in the Episode 2 flashback.
- Chose "Andrew" in the car.
- Did not catch Ashley in the forest.
- Passed the police interrogation.
- Threw the ring away back at the apartment.
What happens.
With the ring gone, the two spiral into suicidal depression in their apartment. The final scene has them jump off a building hand in hand, in front of a group of schoolchildren. The fandom sometimes calls this ending "Splat."
It is exactly as rough as it sounds, and one of the most talked-about endings in The Coffin of Andy and Leyley for how abruptly it cuts everything off.
Shots and Such
How to unlock it.
This is the most complicated ending in The Coffin of Andy and Leyley — an eight-step chain where a single mistake locks you out permanently.

What happens.
The two adopt fake cult-member identities and survive together. Andrew becomes a butcher. Ashley keeps feeding souls to the entity, is pregnant, and plans to abort. The ending text finishes on "never happy, never ever."
⚠️ Content warning: this ending depicts domestic abuse, manipulation, and forced pregnancy. It is widely considered the most disturbing of all endings in The Coffin of Andy and Leyley.
The cruelest part is the randomness of step 8 — you can do everything right and still miss it if Andrew does not draw the ring. That is why so many players save right before the finale and redraw until it works.
Graves in Graves
How to unlock it.
Same chain as the last two, but fail the police interrogation. Ashley draws a gun, misses, and both of them get arrested and sentenced to death.
This one is technically a game over — the game files it with the death states — but the fan community counts it among the real endings in The Coffin of Andy and Leyley because it closes out a full route.
The Happy Ending
How to unlock it.
In the forest, after escaping the portal, simply stay put for five or more seconds without going anywhere. The police arrive and shoot both of them.
Its name is a joke. This is not a happy ending in any sense — it is the one where hesitation itself kills you.
