Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data Andy & Leyley collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. This is a small, independent fan site with no user accounts, no comments, no newsletter sign-ups, and no payments. We collect as little as possible.

Information We Collect
Analytics data (anonymous)
The site is configured to use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for anonymous, aggregated traffic measurement — things like which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are from (by region, not precise location), device and browser type, and how long a visit lasts. GA4 records no names, emails, or direct identifiers. The analytics script only loads when a valid measurement ID is present; with the default placeholder it does not run at all.
Voluntary contact
If you email us at contact@andyandleyley.com, we receive the address you send from and the contents of your message. That is the only personal data we might hold, and only if you choose to contact us.
What we do not collect
- No account credentials — there are no accounts.
- No payment or billing information — the site is free.
- No precise geolocation, fingerprints, or advertising profiles that we control — any advertising identifiers are set by Google as an independent third party, as described above.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. This site sets two kinds of cookies:first-party analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4 (used for anonymous, aggregated traffic measurement), and third-party cookies set by Google when advertising is enabled. Neither kind is used to identify you by name.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so does not break the guides — it only stops anonymous usage measurement and the advertising that depends on those cookies.
Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense)
To keep this site free, we display Google AdSense advertisements. Google is an independent third party, not us, and it controls what it collects through its own cookies and scripts. In practice this means:
- Google may place advertising cookies such as
IDE,test_cookie,__gadsand__gcl_auon your device when an ad is served. - Google may use your IP address, browser and device information, and cookie identifiers to choose ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and measure whether an ad led to a click or conversion.
- Ads may be personalised, so an ad shown to you on this site could later appear on another site. That decision is made by Google, not by us.

What does not change: we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, and we add no advertising scripts of our own. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time viaGoogle Ads Settings, or install theAdSense opt-out cookie. Blocking these cookies stops personalised ads but not all advertising.
This site's editorial content — walkthroughs, endings and character information — is produced by us and is not influenced by which ads are displayed.

We never sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers or third parties. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymous.

Children's Privacy
The Coffin of Andy and Leyley is a mature-rated game. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13 (or 16 in the EU). If you believe a minor has contacted us, email us and we will delete the correspondence.
Third-Party Links
This site links to external resources such as the official Steam news page. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
Changes to This Policy
If our data practices change, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted on the news page.
FAQ
Do you sell my personal data?
No. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. The only data we might hold is an email you send us voluntarily, and we never share it.
Do you use cookies?
Two kinds: first-party analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_<id>) for anonymous traffic measurement, and third-party cookies Google sets when advertising is enabled (IDE,test_cookie, __gads, __gcl_au). The site works fully without them.
Can I request that my data be deleted?
Yes. Email contact@andyandleyley.com and we will delete any correspondence we hold about you.
Do you track me across other websites?
Not ourselves — we run no tracking scripts of our own, and analytics measures only activity on this domain in aggregate. Google AdSense may set its own cookies and show personalised ads that follow you across sites; that is Google's behaviour under its own privacy terms. You can turn personalised ads off in Google Ads Settings.
